  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Creative flair with a deep appreciation for cultural and traditional aesthetics.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment



Responsibilities & Context:

Context:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Merchandiser to join our team at REVE Tex Limited (Le REVE), a well-established local boutique. The Senior Merchandiser will play a key role in managing end-to-end buying, assortment planning, and supply chain coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally inspired products that resonate with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and monitor fashion and craft trends relevant to the local market to inform buying and merchandising decisions.
  • Plan and develop seasonal product assortments aligning with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with artisans, suppliers, and vendors to procure high-quality, ethically sourced products, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage inventory planning, stock levels, and replenish merchandise to optimize sales and minimize markdowns.
  • Supervise sample development, quality control, and production processes to meet quality standards.
  • Assist in designing and executing visual merchandising strategies for retail outlets.
  • Monitor sales data, analyze performance, and make informed decisions to improve product offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams for product launches, campaigns, and events.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate purchase terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, stock levels, and market insights for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and social responsibility standards.
  • Support junior merchandising staff and coordinate as needed to meet organizational goals.
