Job Responsibilities:
∎ CRITICAL PATH & PRODUCTION FOLLOW UP:
∎ CP running on time/managed on daily basis, with weekly updates to MM/AM/SE every Friday.
∎ Timely Sample Submissions/Approvals and sign-offs with buyer
∎ Packaging approvals: Coordinate with QA dept for risk analysis/PP meetings, Timely shipment bookings, Timely final inspections, Production file and sample library/record maintenance
∎ Anticipate issues/delays and do necessary escalations to MM/Buyer with creative solutions to avoid/minimize those issues/delays
∎ Maintain VAS Claim records and work on CAPA with Vendors
∎ Annual vendor/product/category performance review with MM
∎ Visit factories regularly for production follow-ups and new inputs
∎ Proactively anticipate issues and suggest solutions
∎ SOFTWARE (CBX) UPDATE TIMELY & ACCURATELY:
∎ Assign Product Hierarchy, PO Assign to factory OTIF, PO closures OTIF, Delay/Cancellation reason update, RFQ upload in CBX, PO checking and confirmation, Order changes, Record & Data maintenance-per account/buyer/category/season/vendor
∎ DEPARTMENTAL GOALS:
∎ Work closely with MM to/on: Achieve Annual TO Targets, Cost comparisons and cost improvement, Planning and organizing buying trips/VCs, Development/NOD/Buying sample follow-ups from suppliers, Arrange Quotation sheets and do cost negotiations, Source new products as per latest market trends and info from buyers.
∎ OTHERS:
∎ Exhibit Discipline, Critical thinking, Collaboration, Internal personal skills, Respect, Trust, Fairness & good code of conduct within team and with external stakes holders - buyers/vendors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
∎ Proven work experience (8+ years) in merchandising, HomeTex and Hard goods experience will be preferred.
∎ In-depth knowledge of the apparel industry, outerwear products, production processes, and market trends.
∎ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of successful supplier relationships.
∎ Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
∎ Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality standards and cost control.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office applications and relevant software.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali, both written and spoken.

Salary: Tk. 80000 - 90000 (Monthly)
