∎ The Senior Manager, Business Development (Government & Defense) should assist companies acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones; this means the role is a crucial one for any business with the ambition to expand or the necessity to diversify its clientele. It also means that effective business development managers are in high demand in nearly every job sector there is, including government, business-to-business, business-to-customer, and even non-profit organizations. The role must possess excellent leadership skills, motivated and able to work as a team. Should be strong communicator driven, energetic, professional and extremely organized. Also, should be personable and creative in reaching out to possible clients. Should maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic and plenty of resilience.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clear understanding of govt procurement process, specially Government or Defense IT procurement & sales process as well as technical solutions.
∎ Identifies business opportunities in govt. or defense sector by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
∎ Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
∎ Maintains relationships with clients by providing guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
∎ Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
∎ Keeping up to date with the latest product information in technology market.
∎ Advising customers of updates and new technologies.
∎ Pro-actively approaching customers to solve any kind of requirement or support.
∎ Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
∎ Gathering customer, vendor, competitors & market information to plan and execute sales strategies properly.
∎ Create, manage and develop leads of each business vertical for Solutions and Services.
∎ Qualifying leads, prioritize opportunities and maintain a strong Pipeline.
∎ Work with the assigned team members to generate and follow up on sales leads.
∎ Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and System Integration (SI) partner as per the Guidance of CBO.
∎ Take lead in delivering and coordinating customer presentations, demonstrations if needed site visit.
∎ High Level of analyzing competitive scenario/SWOT analysis within the competitor of the Market and formulate action plans accordingly.
∎ Monitor and follow-up project status and accordingly ensure on time execution and collection process from the signed clients.
∎ Work with the vertical head for developing and manage a strategy and existing.
∎ Fiscal year (FY) sales plan to address the designated industry sector.
∎ Analyze the potential business market and formulate effective planning to serve in the target market through quality sales visits.
∎ Prepare weekly reports and submit on-tine to the management for understanding of competitive activity relevant to the market and each industry sector.
∎ Ensure that during the Sales Cycle the Customer is sufficiently informed in order to maximize their chances of a successful implementation project.
∎ Weekly Customer Visit Plan and Follow up and continuously update on Sales Funnel.
∎ Close sales by effectively managing the sales process from start to finish.
∎ Help management to setup and organize team of Sales, Pre-Sales,
∎ Implementation/Delivery and Post-Sales Support.
∎ Other task may be assigned by the Management as when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 8+ Years solid experience in technical sales specially in government & Defense sector.
