Responsibilities & Context:
data edge limited is one of the leading ICT System Integration company in Bangladesh providing ICT solutions to its wide customer base in Bangladesh and abroad. data edge limited is looking for some suitable young Fresh Graduates as Trainee for the position of `Trainee, Application Analyst` to assist in business analysis part in its Software Development Department. This is an opportunity also for the young graduates to start their career with some new technologies and challenges.
Responsibilities:
Business process understanding – Ability to understand from RFP/BRD, how any business workflows operate.
Requirements analysis – Understand user needs and translate them into functional requirements.
Problem-solving mindset – Identify issues, analyze root cause, and propose solutions.
Data interpretation – Basic data validation and report analysis. For example, using Excel, SQL.
Documentation skill- Should have skill to prepare related document and communication with clients /other teams.
Technical Skills:
Basic SQL knowledge – To query and analyze data from application databases.
Understanding of APIs and integrations – Know how systems exchange data (JSON, XML, REST).
Familiarity with software testing – Manual testing, preparing test cases, and UAT support.
Basic understanding of software lifecycle (SDLC) – Awareness of development, testing, deployment stages.
Knowledge of application support tools – e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, or Trello.
Excel/Google Sheets proficiency – Especially for data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
