Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

To manage, maintain, and support Medlog Bangladesh Private Limited IT infrastructure, network systems, security operations, end-user computing environment, and Microsoft cloud services in compliance with MSC Geneva HQ IT policies, ensuring uninterrupted business operations and data security.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer, implement, and maintain local data center operations, including servers, routers, firewalls, HPE Aruba network infrastructure, Wi Fi systems, CCTV, attendance systems, power and cooling systems, and passive network infrastructure in accordance with MSC Geneva HQ IT policies.

  • Manage and maintain End User Computing (EUC) hardware lifecycle and Litigation Hold (LH) processes to ensure secure retention and archiving of corporate data.

  • Administer Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, user account management, access provisioning, access revocation, and maintenance of employee information across Microsoft 365 and other business applications.

  • Monitor and optimize routing paths and application connectivity between MSC Bangladesh and MSC Geneva data centers to ensure system stability and performance.

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain workstation devices, laptops, desktops, AJOW and non-AJOW devices.

  • Administer and manage cloud-based printing services through Printix.

  • Coordinate endpoint security management activities with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, process vendor invoices, perform reconciliations, and administer procurement procedures for hardware, software licenses, warranty extensions, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and Service Level Agreements (SLA) with vendors and OEMs.

  • Conduct IT awareness programs, user training, cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and communicate preventive measures regarding emerging technologies and cyber threats.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users during office hours and, where required, outside office hours and on holidays to ensure business continuity.

  • Participate in technical training and continuous professional development activities to support business and operational requirements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, procedures, licenses, and system inventories.

  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, information security standards, and MSC Geneva governance requirements.
