Experience:
EEE, ICT, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, PMP) will be an added advantage.
Strong hands-on knowledge of networking (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, VLAN, LAN/WAN) and server/infrastructure management.
Demonstrated experience coordinating IT projects, including UAT, migration, deployment, and go-live activities.
Strong incident/problem-management skills, including root cause analysis and corrective-action planning.
Proven vendor management and SLA-tracking experience.Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills; comfortable preparing consolidated status reports for senior management.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide a technical support team.
Willingness to travel to branches as required and to respond promptly to critical, high-impact incidents.
Overall IT Operations & System Monitoring
Monitor the availability, performance, and stability of all critical IT systems and infrastructure, including Diagnostic, Hospital, Pharmacy, ERP, PACS, LIS, HIS, and other business applications.
Monitor servers, databases, storage, backup systems, network infrastructure, and security systems; identify potential issues and take preventive measures before they affect operations.
Review recurring issues, recommend permanent solutions, and ensure uninterrupted IT services for critical business and patient-care operations.
IT Project Management & Implementation
Participate in project planning, requirement analysis, technical evaluation, and solution discussions; coordinate with departments, vendors, and implementation partners.
Prepare and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables; coordinate UAT, data migration, system integration, deployment, and go-live activities.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and delays; escalate major issues to the Head of ICT; maintain proper project documentation and monitor post-go-live stabilization.
Network Management & Configuration
Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPN, VLAN, and LAN/WAN infrastructure, including branch-to-Head Office connectivity.
Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and routing; monitor bandwidth, latency, and capacity; maintain network topology diagrams, IP lists, and device inventories.
Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and optimization, and liaise with ISPs and network service providers on connectivity issues, ensuring compliance with IT security standards.
Hardware & Infrastructure Management
Plan and monitor configuration and deployment of servers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, UPS, storage devices, and other IT equipment.
Maintain hardware inventory, warranty, and lifecycle records; coordinate installation, replacement, upgrade, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Identify obsolete/end-of-life equipment and recommend replacement or upgrade in line with organizational policy.
System Updates, Change Management & Incident Handling
Coordinate and monitor application updates, patches, upgrades, security fixes, and vendor-provided enhancements, with proper pre-deployment testing, backup, and rollback planning.
Oversee incident and problem management: ensure timely response and escalation, monitor recurring incidents, conduct or coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and track critical incidents to closure.
Vendor Management, Security & Backup Monitoring
Coordinate with software/hardware vendors, ISPs, and implementation partners; track SLAs, response times, and committed deliverables; escalate delayed or unresolved vendor issues.
Monitor implementation of IT security policies and controls, coordinate security patches and vulnerability remediation, and monitor backup status and restoration testing of critical systems.
Reporting, Documentation & Team Supervision
Prepare and submit a consolidated Daily IT Status & Update Report to the Head of ICT covering system status, incidents, projects, vendor activities, and next-day plans; escalate critical incidents immediately, without waiting for the daily report.
Maintain up-to-date IT documentation (network topology, hardware inventory, project, change, and incident records) and ensure all major changes are properly documented.
Coordinate and supervise the Executive IT team: assign and monitor support activities, review pending issues, provide technical guidance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Head of ICT on system performance, infrastructure health, project progress, vendor performance, and IT risks.
