Responsibilities & Context:
The Assistant Director – Cloud Infrastructure will be responsible for managing and governing IUB's cloud, DevOps, systems, and core IT infrastructure, with primary responsibility for the University's Microsoft Azure cloud environment supporting ERP and other institutional applications. The position will also oversee DevOps operation, environment management, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, release management, infrastructure security, backup, disaster recovery, and operational continuity. The role will serve as a key technical coordination point among CITS, cloud service providers, implementation partners, technology vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, scalable, and efficient technology infrastructure supporting IUB's digital transformation initiatives.
