Position Summary

ZHB Solutions is seeking an AI-Native Full-Stack & eCommerce Developer with strong, proven experience developing and maintaining eCommerce websites, online stores, CMS platforms, and customer-facing web applications.

eCommerce development is the primary focus of this position. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building real-world eCommerce solutions using platforms such as WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento/Adobe Commerce, or similar technologies, including customizations, payment integrations, third-party APIs, product/catalog functionality, checkout workflows, and production deployments.

In addition to strong eCommerce skills, the candidate should have full-stack development capabilities and be comfortable working with modern frontend, backend, database, API, cloud, and deployment technologies.

We are specifically looking for an AI-native developer who can effectively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or similar AI coding assistants to significantly accelerate software development, debugging, testing, and delivery while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, deploy, and maintain eCommerce websites and online stores.

• Develop and customize solutions using WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento/Adobe Commerce, WordPress, or similar platforms.

• Build custom eCommerce functionality beyond standard themes and plugins.

• Develop product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout processes, customer accounts, order-management functionality, and administrative features.

• Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, tax solutions, CRM systems, email platforms, analytics, and third-party APIs.

• Develop and customize CMS-based business and customer-facing websites.

• Build responsive frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend technologies.

• Develop backend functionality, REST APIs, database integrations, and business logic.

• Troubleshoot and resolve eCommerce, payment, checkout, plugin, API, database, and production issues.

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, security, accessibility, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.

• Perform functional, integration, API, regression, and cross-browser testing.

• Manage deployments, hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, migrations, and production support.

• Use Git/GitHub and participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to other ZHB Solutions full-stack applications and SaaS platforms as needed.

AI-Native Development

The successful candidate should have proven AI-native software development experience and demonstrate the ability to use AI coding assistants to deliver applications with significantly faster turnaround times.

The developer should be comfortable using AI to:

• Convert business requirements into working applications.

• Rapidly develop eCommerce functionality and integrations.

• Generate, review, and refactor code.

• Debug complex application issues.

• Build and test APIs.

• Generate automated tests.

• Analyze unfamiliar codebases.

• Research technical solutions.

• Create technical documentation.

• Automate repetitive development activities.

AI should be used as an engineering productivity accelerator, not as a substitute for understanding the code being delivered.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of professional software/web development experience.

• Strong hands-on eCommerce development experience is required.

• Proven experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento/Adobe Commerce, or comparable eCommerce platforms.

• Experience developing or customizing WordPress or other CMS platforms.

• Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows, including products, inventory, cart, checkout, payment, shipping, orders, and customer accounts.

• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive web development.

• Backend development experience using PHP, Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or comparable technologies.

• MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar database experience.

• REST API development and integration.

• Git/GitHub experience.

• Software testing and debugging skills.

• Understanding of web hosting, DNS, SSL, deployment, and website migration.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

• Custom functionality they developed

• Payment/API integrations they implemented

• Technical challenges they solved

• Their full-stack development responsibilities

• How they use AI development tools to accelerate delivery

Candidates without verifiable eCommerce work samples may not be considered.
