Responsibilities & Context:

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux servers and system infrastructure.

• Configure and administer mail servers, DNS, and Network Management Systems (NMS)

• Manage and maintain virtualization environments using VMware and KVM.

• Monitor system performance, availability, resource utilization, and service health.

• Troubleshoot Linux server, network service, and application-related issues.    

• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for system automation and routine administrative tasks.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and preventive maintenance.

• Implement security best practices for Linux servers and infrastructure.

• Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Support incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.

• Coordinate with network, security, and other technical teams when required.
