Responsibilities & Context:
Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux servers and system infrastructure.
Configure and administer mail servers, DNS, and Network Management Systems (NMS)
Manage and maintain virtualization environments using VMware and KVM.
Monitor system performance, availability, resource utilization, and service health.
Troubleshoot Linux server, network service, and application-related issues.
Develop and maintain Bash scripts for system automation and routine administrative tasks.
Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and preventive maintenance.
Implement security best practices for Linux servers and infrastructure.
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
Support incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with network, security, and other technical teams when required.
