Responsibilities & Context:
Write, debug, and maintain code for Hospital Management System (HMS) modules — patient registration, OPD/IPD, billing, pharmacy, lab/LIS, and reporting.
Assist in the development of custom applications and software systems using Oracle APEX and JavaScript in a web-based environment.
Provide day-to-day production support for live HMS deployments: troubleshoot incidents, investigate data/report discrepancies, and coordinate fixes within SLA.
Support integration between HMS and lab/diagnostic equipment or third-party systems (e.g., LIS/ASTM device interfaces, biometric/attendance feeds) where applicable.
Perform system analysis and design for new and existing hospital application modules.
Assist with planning and designing system and application architecture, and translating hospital business requirements into application prototypes.
Develop user interfaces from given design parameters, tailored for clinical and administrative hospital workflows.
Participate in the agile software development lifecycle in a team environment, including design, code, and test inspections to identify issues/defects.
Handle on-call/rotational support responsibilities for critical hospital systems as required, ensuring minimal downtime for patient-care operations.
