Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly analytical and technology-oriented MIS professional who can establish and manage a strong, centralized MIS function for the Group.
The role will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing and presenting business data from Sales, Production, Inventory, Procurement, Finance, Distribution, HR and other departments to provide management with accurate and timely information for decision-making.
The ideal candidate should be more than a report maker — they should be capable of building dashboards, identifying business problems, improving data systems and creating management-level insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Management Reporting
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
* Develop standardized management reports across different companies, factories and departments.
* Consolidate data from multiple business units into Group-level reports.
* Ensure reports are accurate, timely and actionable.
* Highlight major variances, exceptions, risks and operational issues.
2. Business Dashboard & Analytics
* Develop management dashboards using Power BI / Excel / other BI tools.
* Create dashboards for:
* Sales & target achievement
* Production & productivity
* Inventory & stock aging
* Procurement
* Distribution & logistics
* Receivables
* HR & manpower
* Factory performance
* Product/category profitability
* Provide trend analysis and management insights rather than simply presenting numbers.
3. ERP & Data Management
* Monitor data generated from the company’s ERP and other software systems.
* Ensure departmental data is entered accurately and consistently.
* Identify data gaps, duplicate entries, incorrect information and system/process issues.
* Coordinate with IT and relevant departments to improve ERP reports and data structures.
* Develop standardized reporting formats and data definitions across departments.
4. Departmental KPI Monitoring
* Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for different departments.
* Track actual performance against targets.
* Identify underperforming departments, products, factories, territories and employees where applicable.
* Send regular KPI performance reports to management.
* Support management in developing measurable departmental KPIs.
5. Factory & Operations MIS
* Monitor production plan vs. actual production.
* Analyze productivity, machine utilization, downtime, rejection, wastage and efficiency.
* Track manpower productivity and utilization.
* Monitor factory cost and operational performance.
* Develop factory performance dashboards for management.
6. Sales & Distribution MIS
* Monitor sales against target by:
* Company
* Product
* Territory
* Dealer
* Salesperson
* Branch/showroom
* Track sales growth, achievement, outstanding, order pipeline and dealer performance.
* Monitor distribution and delivery performance.
* Identify sales gaps and opportunities.
7. Inventory & Supply Chain MIS
* Monitor raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory.
* Analyze stock aging, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
* Track inventory turnover and stock availability.
* Prepare procurement and inventory-related analysis for management.
* Coordinate with Supply Chain, Stores and Procurement teams.
8. Data Analysis & Management Insights
* Analyze business trends and identify abnormal movements.
* Conduct variance analysis between budget/target vs. actual.
* Identify operational inefficiencies through data.
* Provide management with clear explanations of “what happened, why it happened and what needs to be done.”
* 9. MIS Process Improvement
* Review existing reporting processes and eliminate unnecessary manual work.
* Automate repetitive reports wherever possible.
* Develop standardized templates and reporting calendars.
* Introduce data-driven management practices throughout the organization.
* Continuously improve MIS systems, dashboards and reporting processes.
10. Management Support
* Prepare special reports and analysis requested by senior management.
* Support business reviews and management meetings with accurate data.
* Prepare presentation-ready dashboards and analytical reports.
* Maintain confidentiality of management information.
