Job Context

Zahid Steel Limited is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Designer with Detailer (Steel Building) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in steel structure design, detailing, and preparing accurate fabrication and erection drawings for industrial and commercial steel building projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and Structural Steel Buildings and Analysis.

• Develop GA (General Arrangement), Assembly, Single Part, Anchor Bolt, and Shop Drawings.

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures

• Create accurate 3D models of steel structures.

• Coordinate with structural engineers, production, and project execution teams.

• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, design codes, and client requirements.

• Review and revise drawings based on engineering comments and site requirements.

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and material take-offs.

• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.

• Support production and installation teams with technical solutions.

• Site visit and monitoring.

• Prepared RCC Building Design and Drawing, Analysis, Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and material take-offs.

• Marketer Experience for sales and target achievement.

• MS Office Experience.

• Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing.

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures (preferred).

• Good command of AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar structural software will be an advantage.

• Ability to interpret structural calculations and engineering drawings.

• Familiarity with international steel design standards.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Marketer Experience for sales and target achievement.

• All Design should be maintain according to BNBC.

• Any compliance design.

• Strong analytical and technical skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work under deadlines.

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Diploma in Engineering with exceptional practical experience may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in steel structure design and detailing.

• Experience in PEB or heavy structural steel projects will be given preference.
