Responsibilities & Context:

1. Lead the planning, analysis, and structural design of industrial buildings, factories, warehouses, utility structures, and infrastructure facilities.

2. Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

3. Support master planning, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, and building permit approval processes.

4. Ensure all designs comply with Invest Bangladesh (formerly BEZA) regulations, BNBC requirements, and applicable international engineering standards.

5. Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated project solutions.

6. Review and approve consultant, contractor, and vendor submissions related to structural and civil engineering works.

7. Conduct site visits, technical assessments, structural inspections, and construction supervision when required.

8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.

9. Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, quality assurance, and risk assessment activities.

10. Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and authority coordination meetings.

11. Support the preparation of engineering reports, tender documents, BOQs, and project proposals.

12. Ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
