Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile Engineering.
∎ Education may be relaxed for more competent candidate.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specialized in seam sealing padded/ fake down woven jacket.
∎ Ensuring development quotation, size set sample following buyer given artwork and comments.
∎ Develops and implements a full product plan that includes coordinating with the merchandising team, sourcing team and production team.
∎ Identifying and applying the most suitable processes to solve sample manufacturing problems.
∎ Experienced to handle large quantities of new style samples, able to serve multi-customers' on different standards.
∎ Establish and apply the standard of fit and construction from concept through to bulk production.
∎ Ensure pre-production samples are developed according to the established fit & quality standards.
∎ Provide technical advice and support in pattern making, fitting and garment construction before sample delivery (perform sample inspection).
∎ In-depth knowledge of CAD software Winda
∎ Capacity to mail communication and good relation with the buyers, merchandisers, sample team and factory production staffs.
∎ Must have to do the risk analysis before the working, always have to check & make sure the own responsibility.
∎ Preparing a mini-marker to calculate material consumption for costing purpose.
∎ Commenting on sample with attention to detail on required workmanship and fitting.
∎ Creation of measurement tables, grading and measurement concepts
∎ Prepared technical specifications for suppliers based on customer requirement.
∎ Prepared accessories list for suppliers based on styling.
∎ Follow-up sample submission deadline and close cooperation with Merchandisers.
∎ Should be able to make patterns manually according to the buyer's original sample.
∎ Should have effective decision-making capability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum 5-7 years of practical experience in the similar position.
∎ Applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fit & Garment Construction
∎ Pattern making
∎ Product Development
∎ Knowledge on CAD Software.
∎ Sound Computer knowledge.
∎ Good written and spoken English.
