∎ Training/Trade Course: quality, inspection, AQL
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Production Management (Knitting & Weaving), Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Quality Control Management, Quality Control/ Inspect
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experienced in Knit & Woven / Sweater production with large volume for at least 7-10 years experience in a multinational setting. Demonstrated competence in quality assurance and quality control systems for large-scale garment’s manufacturers.
∎ Experience working in 100% foreign-owned sweater manufacturer handling foreign buyer quality inspectors and experience in handling global brands.
∎ Experience as buyer's Factory Key Representative (FKR) and or Dedicated Auditor with certificate handling multiple brands under his/her belt is preferred.
∎ Understand types of defects from machines. Experienced and technical know-how to identify quality defects from the production process in accordance with buyer requirements on styling, hand-feel, folding, packing, etc.
∎ Independently handle all quality control activities including quality audit, in-process inspection, end line inspection, finished goods audit, and provide necessary guidance to production for quality improvement.
∎ Take ownership and control of sample requirements from each buyer per style and monitor the same for completion and approval.
∎ Prepare mechanism to establish effective monitoring of garment samples for testing to the nominated laboratories as per buyer standards.
∎ Monitoring of devices and equipment for calibration.
∎ Be a championed-on quality improvement and make the necessary recommendation for enhancement of production processes and practices. Experience in handling quality management systems in ISO QMS certified facilities.
∎ Knowledgeable and experience in handling buyer final inspection process and maintaining the implementation of the quality management system.
∎ Initiate necessary updates on quality policy, quality guidelines with each buyer requirement. Conduct training to all quality inspectors to achieve the highest level of quality from every process.
∎ Infuse effective coordination and communication with production management and compliance team to maintain product quality and or effectively achieve quality requirements from each buyer.
∎ Demonstrate ability to handle the factory evaluation/factory audit from the buyer and or 3rd party.
∎ Monitoring of QA/QC performance and defect rates by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports that should be effectively communicated to all related departments.
∎ Examining product samples and total supervision of the production process in cooperation with the local manufacturers .
∎ Analyzing defects and quality evaluation of controlled goods with regard to technical documentation and classification of defects
∎ Communication and negotiation with suppliers. (conducted in English)
∎ Reporting the results of the product controls and tests (computer skills needed)
∎ Daily reporting of activities during the time in Bangladesh.
∎ Communication with the quality control team and other colleagues in Europe.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments, Textile
∎ Knowledge of textiles and textile testing based on experience, education or interest in the field
∎ Knowledge of the process of clothes production (sewing, manufacturing and cut control)
∎ Knowledge of English on intermediate level - both written and spoken
∎ Working knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel)
∎ Diligent and systematic approach to work
∎ Time flexibility (long-term business travels to Asian countries)
∎ High workload and stress resistance
∎ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
