Since January 2017, CODEC has been continuing its journey with the School Feeding Programme for disadvantaged Rohingya refugee children through its Learning Centers in the refugee camps of Ukhiya& Teknaf Upazila under Cox’s Bazar district. Through CODEC–WFP School Feeding Programme, children receive Micro-Nutrient Fortified Biscuits at Learning Centers every day.
Community Development Centre(CODEC) invites application for the following position from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing ``School Feeding Programme(SFP)`` funded by World Food Programme(WFP) & located at Ukhia in Cox`s Bazar District.
Project Officer will be responsible for overall field level planning, implementation, technical supervision and management of the activities within the cluster-based camps. He/She will:
Work under the supervision of the Deputy Project Coordinator to support monitoring activities, Programme impact assessment and development of monitoring tools.
Ensure food (Fortified Biscuit) distribution coverage in all assigned Learning Centers and Schools.
Maintain 100% LOE throughout the project year.
Prepare and maintain an updated list of students and LC/ECE/CBLF/Schools and submit to PC/DPC and CODEC, and to M&R unit when required.
Submit all field level reports to PC/DPC within deadlines.
Monitor biscuit reception from WFP, verify quantity, maintain records, and ensure proper preservation/storage.
Ensure daily biscuit distribution in LC/ECE/CBLF/Schools and track distribution accuracy.
Follow and maintain the Store/Inventory Management Checklist.
Attend Education Partner’s Meetings, Teachers’ Refresher Sessions, Parents’ Meetings, LCMC workshops, CiC coordination meetings, etc.
Organize Cluster Coordination Meetings with FM/SK in respective areas after the coordination meeting.
Maintain effective communication with PC/DPC, CiC/CMO, Government officials and relevant stakeholders.
Build communication and establish relationships with Block/Sub-block Majhi and Camp Majhi.
Coordinate all types of program visits by different stakeholders
Ensure weekly briefing with Volunteers and monitor follow-up actions.
Support Field Monitors Store Keeper and LC Teachers for quality implementation and Registered camps Complementary Activities under SFP.
Ensure proper storage, hygiene, stock documentation and inventory management.
Assist Logistics Team during bi-monthly physical inventory.
Ensure availability of safe drinking water and observe sanitation conditions in all Programme areas Learning Facilities.
Support any emergency response initiative connected to Rohingya operations.
Ensure the Volunteers Cash wages bi-monthly and assist to the Finance Team.
Coordinate and oversee the distribution of biscuits for the CODEC-WFP School Feeding Programme.
Maintain liaison with camp office level GoB/NGO officials, local elite and other key formal and informal leaders in the area.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
