Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, manage, monitor, and oversee the different steps and stages of project execution and ensure the accomplished the activities as per design.
∎ Develop scheme wise detailed budget and implementation plan.
∎ Manage the project resources (budget and human resources) properly for maximum cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
∎ Travel frequently to the field (at least 50%), monitor progress and identify risks for timely action and early resolution.
∎ Update and suggest BHP senior management on the direction, strategies, and technical issues of the project.
∎ Provide technical guidance in the implementation of project activities and adapt accordingly.
∎ Provide guidance to the team members on program quality standards, management quality procedures and DRR best practices.
∎ Determine staff technical capacity building needs and decide for necessary training, feedback, guidance and support to ensure optimum performance.
∎ Supervise staff to ensure the timely, efficient, and impactful implementation of the project.
∎ Prepare project reports (progress, financial, etc.) for management information, oversight and action in a timely manner
∎ Ensure that environmental, resilience and sustainability issues are considered in the project activity implementation.
∎ Collaborate with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to ensure the desired outcomes.
∎ Ensure compliance for all actions and activities with organizational rules, regulations, policies, strategies and internal control mechanisms and the achievement of results according to the principles of results-based management.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Excellent speaking and writing skill both in Bangla and English
∎ Disaster Management framework of Bangladesh.
∎ Global, regional, and national level humanitarian architecture.
∎ Sound knowledge on Sphere and all other humanitarian framework and standards.
∎ Team building and leading capacity and ability to work under pressure and deadline
∎ Flexible to face new challenges
∎ Analytical thinking, decision making, report writing
