∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Senior National Officer (Project Development and Reporting) and overall guidance of the Mission Support Unit Head in Bangladesh, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day project development, reporting and mission support activities in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain, update, and circulate the Project Development Tracking Matrix to SMT and other internal
∎ stakeholders, following up on projects under development from inception to handover to the Project Manager.
∎ Help the Mission Support Unit Head in conducting background research related to programmes
∎ development.
∎ Support the Mission Support Unit's work on donor reporting, including liaising with project and
∎ resource management teams to verify IOM's reporting requirements are met.
∎ Support the Mission Support Unit Head and CoM and DCoM with timely informal translation of
∎ relevant correspondence with Government and other stakeholders
∎ Organize events/consultations for Programme Support Unit, including ensuring minutes and post
∎ event reports/data is collated and circulated.
∎ Collate data and prepare submissions for Regional Office/stakeholder requests.
∎ Draft and collate correspondence, tables, reports, presentation, and other forms of documentation.
∎ Maintain project related files, documents, equipment, and database.
∎ Support Project Development activities as required.
∎ Undertake duty travel related to programme implementation, liaison with counterparts, and other activities of the unit, as required.
∎ Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor and the DcoM

Additional Requirements:
∎ Three years' experience in similar role is an advantage
∎ Experienced in organizing consultation, workshops, seminar with high level stake holders
∎ Experience in IOM project development and reporting processes and software; and
∎ Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of
∎ spreadsheet and data analysis
