Education:

High school diploma with four years of relevant experience ; or, Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, Engineering/Architecture, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience in data processing and handling of the data collection tools.

• Experience managing LPG distributions and relationships with other agencies and government officials.

• Experience in Shelter/NFI response programming, needs assessment, data collection, community mobilization, distribution, training, shelter upgrade guidance, monitoring and review.

• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government, or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of distribution of NFIs, community mobilization and sensitization activities and fire safety.

• Knowledge on the use of IT equipment, KOBO and SCOPE platform.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work effectively

General Functions:

Under the overall supervision of the Project Officer (Shelter/NFI) and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Assistant, the successful candidate will assist to implement the Shelter/NFI programmes with a focus on the Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) related activities in the camp settlements in Ukhiya and Teknaf subdistricts.
