Job Context:

∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer (NPO) of the project and overall supervision by the Head of the Migration & Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day to day implementation of community engagement and behavior change communication activities of the project titled "Creating Models of Ethical Recruitment Practices in Bangladesh".

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Assist the NPO in implementing BCC activities including organizing workshops on ethical recruitment principles targeting the community groups, local leaders, sub agents and second and third tier recruiting agencies.
∎ 2. Support the NPO is developing Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) and information materials; identification of appropriate audience, assist in research and compilation of relevant data to further update the tools.
∎ 3. Assist in producing communication materials, information materials and assist in disseminating communication materials to partners, stakeholders including beneficiaries to facilitate awareness raising and BCC initiatives.
∎ 4. Maintain all the project related data, information and records of the activities reports, and support in preparing the final project report.
∎ 5. Assist in establishing a community feedback mechanism and support in collecting information and regularly update the supervisor.
∎ 6. Organize awareness raising trainings for the migrants, recruitment agencies, sub agents and the communities.
∎ 7. Draft project reports, case stories and other similar documents in line with assigned responsibilities
∎ 8. Monitor project progress according to project work plan. Take minutes of the meeting and keep track of those meetings for filing and reporting purposes
∎ 9. Provide logistics, finance, administration and coordination of meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings and conferences at the national level as well as other events.
∎ 10. Complete PR for all relevant program activities and ensure proper quotation from vendors and follow up on any finance/admin related paperwork related to the Project
∎ 11. Remain responsible for the maintenance of project related files, documents, equipment and database etc.
∎ 12. Undertake duty travel relating to the project activities, as required.
∎ 13. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Three years of experience in handling projects, administrative and logistical issues.
∎ Prior experience of working in UN agencies will be considered as an asset.
∎ Strong interpersonal and ability to work in a team.
