∎ Purpose: Programme Manager, Implementation will have the overall implementation responsibility of both prevocational and vocational skill development components of the project in FDMN camps in Cox`s Bazar. This position will also ensure liaison with other stakeholders, planning, budgeting, monitoring, coordination, quality control measures, supportive staff supervisions, and problem solving to achieve the highest quality project outcome in time.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take leadership in implementation of both the prevocational and vocational skill development component of the project in FDMN camps in Cox's Bazar under the guidance of relevant Sector Lead.
∎ Provide necessary supervision and guidance including job induction and orientation to all the subordinate project managers and deputy project managers.
∎ Take initiative and leadership in timely implementation of project activities with proper quality control mechanisms.
∎ Monitor programme activities in the camps and impact of activities and propose adjustments of the project strategy where needed.
∎ Prepare project/ programme reports for senior management and donors. Also, Review and analyses progress reports, monitor reports, audit reports, and budget variances, and provide feedback to management.
∎ Represent BRAC in any relevant thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed.
∎ Establish and maintain effective working relationships and networking with stakeholders and donor agencies as deemed necessary.
∎ Server as resource person for problems arising in the process of project implementation.
∎ Ensure proper coordination with other units, departments, and sectors of HCMP-BRAC at the camp level and in RO level as necessary to harmonize the project implementation and synergy among various other projects.
∎ Coach, train and mentor staffs with the aim of strengthening their capacity, exchanging knowledge within the team and providing professional development guidance.
∎ Efficient and proper management of resources including financial, human and project assets and ensure value for money.
∎ Ensure effective contribution in budget management and tracking, monitoring programme budget as per Plan.
∎ Contribute to concept note and project proposal writing as necessary and other responsibilities within the scope of authority of this position as per the guidance of the supervisor.
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience of similar position and role in the field of education, skills development and livelihood is required.
∎ Knowledge on application of skills component, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
∎ Knowledge on budget preparation, fund raising, administration and donor compliance issues.
∎ Knowledge on people management, multiculturalism, ethics and supervision.
∎ Knowledge about FDMN camps context is necessary.
∎ Have management and Leadership quality
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication including English writing and presentation skills.
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel).
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
∎ Excellent organization, and coordination skills.
∎ Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive.
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams.
