Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise daily operations across all production sites, ensuring consistency and quality.
∎ Develop and manage seasonal and monthly production schedules.
∎ Track and report on production targets, progress, and hours worked across all sites.
∎ Collaborate with Site Managers through regular meetings, phone calls, and visits.
∎ Work with artisans and managers to meet cost and margin targets without compromising quality.
∎ Lead training initiatives to maintain and improve quality standards across sites.
∎ Support Site Managers in implementing continuous improvement strategies.
∎ Coordinate with Operations and Inventory teams to ensure timely procurement and material availability.
∎ Monitor stock levels and production flow to optimize resource use.
∎ Analyze line layout and adjust workforce allocation based on SMV for improved productivity.
∎ Maintain compliance with health, safety, labor, and fair trade standards.
∎ Lead biweekly meetings with direct reports, documenting action items and training needs.
∎ Promote trauma-informed leadership and a healthy, healing work environment.
∎ Identify and nurture leadership potential among employees.
∎ Maintain accurate records of leave, personnel files, and incident reports.
∎ Collaborate with non profit partners on new training cohorts.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
∎ 4–5 years’ experience in textile or garment production management.
∎ Strong background in artisan-based or sustainable fashion production preferred.
∎ Proven success in leading teams, managing production schedules, and improving efficiency.
∎ Proficiency in SMV-based planning, cost control, and quality assurance.
∎ Fluent in both Bengali and English with strong communication skills.
∎ Deep commitment to ethical labor and sensitivity to trauma-informed practices.
∎ Hardworking, organized, and capable of working under pressure.

∎ Position Overview: Production Manager
∎ We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our multi-site production operations. The successful candidate will manage the full production cycle, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery while upholding Basha’s values of ethical employment, professionalism, and empowerment.
