Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the entire team of development merchants for H&M and UK customers collection focusing on in-house strength & capabilities based on central development strategy.
Cover the woven-denim-tailoring product range from the style analysis up to the garment ensuring correct fabrics & garments construction, and value addition, Fits & wash developments
Dove improvements in sample approval rates, including Proto, Fit, PP, and Size Set samples
Monitor sample performance and implement corrective actions to enhance buyer confidence and increase order conversion rates.
Organize technical review meetings to assess product feasibility and mitigate production risks
Partner with Mills to co-create collection development, work on material library to streamline fabric base, guiding patterns and specification sheets for samples follow design bref
Direct and coordinate sample section for sample plan, lead time and quality to secure the best product reaches to customer
Regular catch up & update in collaboration with inhouse Europe & UK designer counterpart
Ensure specification and development of products with the required quality standards for H&M, Kontoor and UK customers
Must have good knowledge of wash techniques and various print techniques and embroidery work.
Understand the different fabric qualities/yarn/ measurements/technical aspects of garment construction
Strong in Library management, presentation skills and customer communication
Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Development team. Monitor team performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
High focus on product elevation, sampling LT while maintaining strong business relationships with the customers and adopt appropriate methods of researchin analyzing, and interpreting the behavior of different consumer groups
Collaborate with the Fabric, Technical, quality and merchandising team
