Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare and execute risk-based internal audit plans as per annual audit schedule.
Conduct audits on production, procurement, inventory, store, maintenance, HR & compliance, and other operational areas.
Identify control weaknesses, deviations, and non-compliances in factory processes.
Verify the accuracy and reliability of records, reports, and documentation.
Evaluate adherence to company policies, SOPs, and standard operating processes.
Review factory financial transactions, including material consumption, wastage, and variance.
Ensure compliance with buyers' requirements, local labor laws, and regulatory standards.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
Follow up on corrective action plans (CAP) and ensure timely closure of audit issu
Identify potential risk areas and recommend preventive controls.
Assist in developing and updating factory-level SOPs and checklists.
