A leading private-sector Jute manufacturing and export organization in Bangladesh is looking for an experienced and business-focused professional to take charge as Head of Operations – Jute.

This is not simply a factory operations role. We are looking for someone who can lead the entire Jute business operation, connect manufacturing with market and export requirements, improve productivity and profitability, and build a strong operational culture across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with strong experience in the Jute and Textile sectors, a proven track record of managing complex operations, and the leadership maturity to work closely with senior management in shaping and delivering the organization’s next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the Jute business operations, including manufacturing, production planning, quality, maintenance, supply chain coordination and operational performance.

• Lead and improve the end-to-end export operation, working closely with Commercial, Marketing and Export teams to ensure timely shipment, product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Align production and operational planning with international market demand, customer requirements and export commitments.

• Drive productivity, cost efficiency, capacity utilization and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials and other resources.

• Develop and strengthen production systems, quality standards, operational controls and performance management.

• Work closely with senior management to identify new business opportunities, improve competitiveness and support the expansion of the Jute business in international markets.

• Lead and develop a capable team of professionals and factory leadership.

• Take ownership of operational challenges and ensure timely, practical and sustainable solutions.

• Lead initiatives related to capacity expansion, modernization, process improvement and operational transformation.

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, environmental, export and regulatory
