• Bachelor/Honors

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Leather Engineering, Textile Engineering, Footwear Technology, or Science (Physics/Chemistry) from a recognized institution.

• 1 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Garments, Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery, Garments Accessories

• Age 18 to 35 years

• The applicants must have hands-on experience working in a laboratory within the Footwear, Leather Goods, Garments, or Tannery industry.

Accenture Footwear & Leather Products Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to manage our fully equipped in-house laboratory. The ideal candidate will ensure that all raw materials and finished goods strictly meet international quality standards and buyer specifications through rigorous testing.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical, chemical, and performance tests on raw materials (leather, synthetic leather, fabrics) and finished goods (footwear, bags, hardware).

• Operate and maintain specialized in-house lab equipment, including the Salt Spray Corrosion Test Chamber, Button Pull Test Machine, Luggage Shock Tester, and Needle Detector Machine.

• Perform precise measurements and inspections using Thickness Gauges, Digital Vernier Calipers, GSM Weight Scales, and Moisture Meters.

• Monitor and control the laboratory environment using Industrial Dehumidifier Machines to ensure optimal testing conditions.

• Operate the Fabric & Synthetic Leather Rolling and Measuring Machine for material inspection.

• Prepare accurate daily/weekly test reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with buyer SOPs and international standards (ISO, ASTM).

• Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to promptly resolve any material or product discrepancies.
