• BBA/MBA.

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Fashion Design / Garment Technology or related field will add more value.

• Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced and technically proficient candidates.

Sample Room Leadership

• Lead a high-capacity Sample Room capable of delivering 150+ sample including development samples for own studio .

• Ensure samples are completed correctly and on time, with strong control over quality, workmanship and buyer requirements.

• Manage priorities effectively to support multiple high-end international buyers and fast-moving development programs.

Digital Pattern & 3D Capability

• Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in TUKA CAD / TUKA Pattern systems or similar

• Advanced knowledge of CLO 3D for virtual garment development, fit evaluation and faster sample approval.

• Drive digital sampling and 3D development to reduce physical sampling, fabric consumption and development lead time.

Technical & Fitting Excellence

• Excellent knowledge of garment fitting, pattern engineering, construction and workmanship.

• Ability to identify fitting and construction risks at the development stage and provide practical technical solutions.

• Develop production-friendly garment constructions that ensure quality while improving sewing efficiency and manufacturability.

• Strong understanding of woven products, including shirts, blouses, dresses, bottoms and fashion garments.

Speed & Lead-Time Reduction

• Drive continuous improvement to achieve faster sample turnaround and shorter development lead times.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks between Merchandising, Pattern, Sample Sewing, Technical and related teams.

• Build a strong Right First Time (RFT) culture to minimize sample rejection, correction and resubmission.

• Ensure urgent developments are handled with speed without compromising quality.

Cost & Productivity Improvement

• Take initiatives for fabric saving, consumption optimization and cost-effective garment construction.

• Identify opportunities to reduce sample-making cost, rework, unnecessary processes and material wastage.

• Work closely with IE/Production to ensure developments are commercially viable and bulk-production friendly.

• Introduce automation, digitalization and improved working methods wherever practical.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Merchandising, Technical, Design, Production, IE, Quality and Planning teams.

• Strong ability to understand buyer requirements and convert them into technically correct samples.

• Maintain clear ownership, proactive follow-up and timely escalation to avoid development delays.
