Responsibilities & Context:
Inspect and test incoming paddy, in-process materials, and finished rice for quality compliance.
Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory analysis of rice samples.
Monitor process parameters and identify deviations during milling, polishing, sorting, and packing.
Maintain accurate and timely QC records, test results, and inspection reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
Maintain calibration records of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety regulations, and customer-specific quality standards.
Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor and ensure hygiene and sanitation practices are followed in the plant.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
