• Experience: 2–5 years in a Fire Door or Steel Furniture manufacturing plant.
• Key Skills: Advanced AutoCAD, knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, and familiarity with Fire Service & Civil Defence (FSCD) requirements.

• Design Shop Drawings: Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire-rated doors and frames.

• Hardware Layout: Create precise templates for panic bars, hinges, and lockset installations.

• Material Inspection: Verify raw materials (steel gauge, rockwool) against fire-rating standards.

• Production Monitoring: Oversee factory fabrication to ensure doors match approved designs.

• Final QC Testing: Conduct dimensional and functional checks before product dispatch.

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs follow UL, BS, and BNBC fire safety codes.

• Site Measurement: Visit project sites to take accurate opening dimensions for production.

• Technical Submittals: Prepare documents and drawings for consultant and architect approval.

• Record Keeping: Maintain quality inspection reports and design version controls.

• Issue Resolution: Identify manufacturing defects and provide technical design corrections.
