Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct daily onsite assessment in respective production areas as per environmental & chemical management standard (e.g. BCMP, Green to Wear, ISO 14001:2015 etc.)
∎ Prepare CAP for audit finding and work for implementation.
∎ Conduct product chemical risk assessment on finish goods.
∎ Conduct alternative assessment to replace hazard chemicals/dyes.
∎ Ensure bulk recipes as per approved sample recipe for respective productions areas.
∎ Prepare documentation for respective production areas for audit & certification purpose.
∎ Conduct internal audit in respective production areas to identify and resolve issues regarding environmental & chemical management (ECM) as per standard & guideline.
∎ Conduct purchased raw chemical risk assessment as per buyer standard & send to 3rd party testing if required.
∎ Check all equipment for its proper calibration, functional activity and verify reading in respective area of operation & maintain log book.
∎ Check, monitor & assist compliance team as per buyer’s and ISO standard in the respective areas.
∎ Check all ECM received goods to identify its quality and requirement as per standard.
∎ Check & monitor chemical stores activities to secure chemical purchase policy and procedure.
∎ Coordinate with SCM to develop new product and fulfil necessary documentations.
∎ To ensure purchase requirements, coordinate with chemicals store to follow up daily basis FIFO.
∎ Conduct environmental & chemical handling training as per training schedule.
∎ Prepare monthly chemical training schedule.
∎ Prepare monthly chemical inventory with process loss register.
∎ Prepare & update monthly checking register of chemical emergency safety devices.
∎ Prepare & update all log information and test reports of chemicals in register and verify as per standard’s requirement regarding ECM issue.
∎ Attend meeting with supplier regarding new chemical management updates from buyers and legal entity.
