Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct Internal Audits, Prepare Analytical Reports for Various Facilities, and Provide Advisory Sessions for Factories.
∎ Take an active role in the phased implementation of self-governance within the factory, following the provided guidebook.
∎ Develop and implement compliance-related policies and procedures.
∎ Deliver employee training on topics related to compliance, policies, and procedures.
∎ Ensure consistent adherence to labor laws, uniform social compliance, and human rights standards throughout the company.
∎ Prepare and update all documents and registers related to compliance.
∎ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the compliance program, ensuring its smooth functioning.
∎ Proficiently handle various types of audits, including Social, Environmental, and Buyer's Code of Conduct (COC) audits.
∎ Monitor workers' health and safety issues, fire safety protocols, accidents, and conduct root cause analyses.
∎ Effectively resolve all compliance issues, maintain a healthy and safe working environment, and remain audit-ready at all times.
∎ Guarantee the facility's compliance with local and international legal standards.
∎ Identify any non-conformities related to compliance and ensure that these findings are systematically and strategically addressed.
∎ Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) based on internal and external audit reports.
∎ Undertake other assigned duties and projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ 5+ year's related experience as a Compliance Officer/ Senior Compliance Officer or similar role.
∎ Adequate knowledge in Bangladesh Labour Law & Rules, EPZ Laws, ILO Convention, COC of Prominent brand, C-TPAT, GSV, RSC/Nirapon Code, BNBC, NFPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Higg Index etc.
∎ Strong knowledge about Fire Safety, Occupational health & Safety, Building safety & Electrical Safety.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Proactive, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently.
∎ Should have good analytical power and communication skills to resolve issues.
∎ Candidate should familiar with computer operation and common Office application.
∎ Great interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
