∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the overall guidance of Emergency Health Programme Coordinator for Cox`s Bazar in Bangladesh and direct supervision of SRH Officer in Cox`s Bazar, the successful candidate contributes to the design, planning and management of the reproductive health program in CXB.
∎ S/he will be responsible and accountable for assisting in the strengthening of IOM`s Sexual and Reproductive Health Cox`s Bazar operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The National programme officer- Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) supports the design, planning and management of IOM CXB Sexual and Reproductive Health programme by providing and managing data inputs, providing logistical support, monitoring project implementation and following up on recommendations based on findings/ operations.
∎ S/he is instrumental in applying established and implementation of systems and procedures and assists in the creation of substantive knowledge by compiling, synthesizing and analyzing information relevant to reproductive health issues and emergencies.
∎ S/he participate in evaluation of project activities, establishing and implementing mechanisms to systematically assess the achievement of results, conducting field visits, participating in review meetings and evaluation missions and preparing regular inputs to status and progress reports. S/he analyzes basic factors affecting the achievement of results, recommends corrective actions and follows up on recommendations.
∎ In coordination with national counterparts and project personnel, guides routine implementation of assigned projects, ensures support and monitoring of RH programme performance, coordinates delivery of project inputs, including procurement, ensuring participation of national counterparts in training activities.
∎ Provides logistical support to project by coordinating review meetings and other project related workshops and events.
∎ Trains and guides project personnel and staff according to national policies, guidelines and procedures.
∎ Assists in organization and follow-up of the results of the RH project quality assurance activities (field visits, spot checks, micro-assessments, etc.) and Implementation Partner technical support on SRH.
∎ Participates in inter-agency meetings and exercises, and advocate for the integration of the IOM's mandate areas.
∎ Any other duties assigned to her/him by the supervisors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of professional experience in the field of Sexual reproductive health, family planning and preferably in programme management
∎ Operational and field experience in health-related issues of migrated and/or displaced persons, programme development, migration health, including conceptualization, analysis and implementation of programme
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage.
