∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager of the project and overall supervision by the Deputy Chief of Mission, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of community engagement and behavior change communication activities of the project titled "Creating Models of Ethical Recruitment Practices in Bangladesh".

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Coordinate timely and efficient planning, implementation and monitoring of the community engagement and behavior change communication components of the project including administrative and operational activities in coordination with the Programme Manager.
∎ 2. Design a BCC plan to implement a community-based sensitization workshops on ethical recruitment principles and safe migration targeting the community groups, local leaders, sub agents and second and third tier recruiting agencies; to create agents of change at the community level to promote and advocate for ethical recruitment.
∎ 3. Plan and develop Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) and information materials; coordinate with appropriate audience, research, compile and analyze relevant data to further update the tools; review and produce communication materials exploring the best practices while adapting to the local context.
∎ 4. Disseminate communication materials to partners, stakeholders including beneficiaries to facilitate awareness raising and BCC initiatives.
∎ 5. Develop a community feedback mechanism; implement, monitor and update the PM regularly for adaptive changes if required.
∎ 6. Maintain all the project related data, information and records of the activities reports, and support in preparing the final project report for donor submission.
∎ 7. Maintain strong coordination with the implementing NGOs and relevant stakeholders for smooth project operation, including the Union Digital Centers (UDCs).
∎ 8. Plan and organize awareness raising trainings for the migrants, recruitment agencies, sub agents and the communities.
∎ 9. Prepare project reports, case stories and other similar documents in line with assigned responsibilities
∎ 10. Monitor project progress according to the project work plan.
∎ 11. Track project expenditures and assist the Resource Management Unit to prepare financial reports
∎ 12. Supervise the project assistants in organizing logistics, finance, administration and coordination of meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings and conferences at the national level as well as other events deemed necessary by the project.
∎ 13. Undertake duty travel related to programme assessment, liaison with counterparts, problem solving and new programme developments, as required.
∎ 14. Train, guide and supervise project team and provide necessary support to enable them execute activities efficiently to meet the project objectives.
∎ 15. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Two years of project management experience preferably in the field of migration management or a combination of development and BCC;
∎ Experience in managing awareness raising and capacity building projects will be an added advantage;
∎ Prior experience of working in UN agencies will be considered as an asset;
∎ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; courteous, tactful and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds;
∎ Well-developed skills in personal organization, priority setting, problem solving and writing; Strong client orientation and service approach with personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results.
∎ High degree of judgment and initiative; ability to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas.
