Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ This position will be recruited by CDD under a project titled, `Resilience strengthening of vulnerable populations in northern, western and eastern Bangladesh through a network approach of 5 partner organizations project.` to be implemented with the support of Malteser International. The project will take initiatives at the vulnerability of at-risk, marginalized, rural riverine and coastal communities is reduced through improved socio-economic conditions and emergency preparedness. Moreover, the project strengthens access to the social safety net programmes of Bangladesh by assisting those most in need to access entitlements and support from the state.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the development/streamlining of an effective and appropriate M&E system, methodologies and frameworks for measuring progress, learning and impact at multiple levels,
∎ Set optimum levels of learning, reporting, and accountability and ensure that they are met.
∎ Support and contribute to the development and implementation of M&E systems, including M&E guidance and tools.
∎ Participate in program design and proposal discussions, including log frame design and budgeting for M&E.
∎ Support partner organizations/OPDs as well as members of the Self-Help Group members to enhance their capacity on basic monitoring tools and data management
∎ Support program staff in planning for and executing M&E, including, data collection methodology and tools and data management, analysis and use.
∎ Support the implementation, dissemination and use of evaluations, assessments and monitoring data in program development, adjustment or review.
∎ Contribute to organizational learning through supporting specific analysis, lessons learned and reports.
∎ Supervise and mentor OPDs in executing M&E plans.
∎ Establish standardized M&E system at project level, and support and contribute to the development of a data management system through documentation, implementation and reporting.
∎ Ensure that monitoring data are reported on a timely manner
∎ Prepare and develop status reports to Project Manager and as required by management and ensure proper filing of documents.
∎ Closely work with different project teams to document practices and draw lessons learnt, design and conduct survey and produce reports.
∎ Collecting the reports for all the teams visits, ensuring the quality and compliance of these reports and ensure incorporation of recommendations in M&E system jointly with PM.
∎ Orient program staff in planning for and executing M&E effectively
∎ Any other task as assigned by the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 40 years
∎ At least 03 years' experience in the design and implementation of M&E in a Local or National or International NGO;
∎ Must have a good understanding on logical framework and theory of change.
∎ Have knowledge on data collection techniques, sampling methodology, and M&E concepts.
∎ Able to take decisions promptly, prioritize and multi-task seamlessly.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Team player with experience in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environments.
∎ Strong writing and reporting skills;
∎ Sound Knowledge and skills on the M&E framework;
∎ Proven experience working with persons with disabilities, partner organizations and other stakeholders.
∎ Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation; communication, presentation and report writing skills;
∎ Have adaptability, teamwork, relationship building and change management skills;
∎ Experience in project cycle management (proposal writing, project planning, budgeting, project implementation, M&E) and managing bilateral donor projects.
∎ Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
∎ High level English language proficiency.
