Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising & Management, Apparel Manufacturing & Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), ERP systems.
• Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.    
• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.   
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·       
• Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines simultaneously.

No need to apply if you don’t have any expertise or experience in WOVEN DRESS garments merchandising.

• Coordinate with buyers to understand product specifications, design details, and seasonal requirements.

• Understand and issue tech packs, size specs, trims, and fabric details to suppliers.

• Follow up on proto, fit, PP, and TOP samples to ensure quality and timely submission.

• Ensure samples meet buyer standards and incorporate corrections as required.

• Obtain fabric, trims, and CM (cost of making) quotes from suppliers.

• Prepare detailed cost sheets and negotiate pricing to achieve target margins.

• Support order confirmation by maintaining competitive pricing.

• Track fabric and trim bookings, lab dips, strike-offs, and print approvals.

• Monitor production status, ensure adherence to timelines, and prevent delays.

• Ensure quality standards and buyer compliance requirements.

• Act as the main point of contact between buyers and factory.

• Share order status updates, approvals, shipment plans, and any risk assessment.

• Maintain strong relationships with buyers to understand expectations and improve service quality.

• Work with the QC team to ensure woven dresses meet quality norms and inspection standards.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements such as testing, labelling, and packaging.

• Follow up with logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods.

• Prepare shipping schedules and coordinate documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and test reports.

• Ensure on-time delivery and resolve shipment issues if any.

• Conduct any other task assigned by the management.
