• Oversee the merchandising process from order confirmation to shipment, coordinating with buyers and production teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.

• Monitor order progress and keep all stakeholders regularly informed.

• Collaborate with design teams to develop samples as per buyer requirements, reviewing and approving them to meet quality and specification standards while suggesting improvements aligned with market trends.

• Assist in the development of new buyers or orders through marketing and product development activities.

• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries and keeping them updated on order status and delivery schedules.

• Communicate with buyers on a regular basis regarding product requirements, pricing, approvals, and delivery schedules.

• Liaise with fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and negotiate favorable prices and terms.

• Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices, and handle order confirmation.

• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet required standards, resolving any quality issues promptly through coordination with production.

• Ensure all approvals (samples, trims, fabrics, and print/ embroidery) are received on time.

• Prepare and maintain all merchandising documentation, including PO, order sheets, consumption, costing, and inspection reports.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all merchandising activities, including order details, correspondence, and quality reports, and prepare regular updates for management.

• Maintain T&A calendar and update the buyer accordingly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to meet departmental goals while guiding and supporting junior team members.

• Proactively identify and resolve production issues, implementing process improvements to reduce lead time.

• Stay informed on market trends and buyer preferences, providing insights to support new business & opportunities.
