Experience:
Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, textile manufacturing processes, dyeing, finishing and quality standards.
Excellent sales, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong network with international apparel brands, buying houses, and textile buyers will be an advantage.
Sound understanding of costing, pricing, order management, and export procedures.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
Job Overview:
The Marketing Manager – Woven Textile will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing buyer relationships and handling the complete marketing process for woven textile products. The role requires close coordination with merchandising, production, planning, quality and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets as assigned by management.
Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Identify and secure new buyers while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
Handle buyer inquiries, product presentations, quotations, price negotiations, and order confirmations.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Planning, Quality, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
Monitor the entire order process from inquiry to shipment and resolve any issues affecting delivery or customer satisfaction.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, business reports, and performance analyses for management.
Attend local and international trade fairs, buyer meetings, and business development events to promote the company's products.
Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new fabrics and value-added solutions based on market demand.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely support, and prompt resolution of complaints.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and global textile market developments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable quality standards.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
MBA will be considered an added advantage.
