·         Develop patterns from designs, sketches, or sample garments for various boutique apparel styles.

·         Prepare master patterns and grade patterns across the full size range accurately.

·         Work closely with designers and merchandisers to interpret design concepts into wearable patterns.

·         Make patterns for proto, fit, and size-set samples, and revise based on fit comments.

·         Check and correct patterns for measurement accuracy, fabric consumption, and construction feasibility.

·         Coordinate with the cutting and sewing sections to ensure patterns are correctly interpreted in bulk production.

·         Maintain a proper record and library of approved patterns and markers.

·         Calculate and optimize fabric consumption through efficient marker planning.

·         Ensure timely delivery of patterns in line with the production and sampling schedule.

·         Guide and supervise pattern helpers/cutters as required.
