• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field

• 3–8+ years of experience in denim merchandising (designation will depend on experience).

• Proven experience in both product development and order execution.

• Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent costing, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Experience working with international apparel brands and retailers will be an advantage.

1. Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for denim products, from development to shipment.

2. Manage product development with buyers, design teams, and suppliers to achieve desired quality, costing, and timelines.

3. Execute orders by coordinating with production, sourcing, washing, quality, and logistics teams.

4. Develop and negotiate costing while maintaining target margins.

5. Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from approved suppliers.

6. Monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans and ensure timely execution of all milestones.

7. Communicate effectively with international buyers regarding developments, approvals, production updates, and shipment status.

8. Coordinate sample development, approvals, fit sessions, and bulk production.

9. Resolve production and quality issues proactively to ensure smooth execution.

10. Prepare merchandising reports and maintain accurate documentation.
