Key Roles & Responsibilities

* Manage and ensure compliance with all Environmental & Chemical Responsibility (ECR) requirements of the factory.

* Must have practical experience working with H&M requirements and standards.

* Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with H&M, Primark, Takko, and S.Oliver.

* Manage and coordinate HIGG FEM/FSLM assessments, including preparation, data collection, submission, follow-up, and corrective action implementation.

* Handle H&M Supplier Portal activities, including required environmental, chemical, sustainability, and compliance-related data submission and updates.

* Coordinate with H&M and other buyer platforms regarding ECR, environmental, chemical, and sustainability requirements.

* Maintain and update all required HIGG, H&M Supplier Portal, audit, and compliance documentation.

* Monitor and maintain ETP operations, including daily records, chemical dosing, wastewater treatment, sludge management, testing, and compliance.

* Ensure proper chemical management, including chemical inventory, SDS/MSDS, labeling, storage, handling, approval, and consumption records.

* Ensure compliance with applicable ZDHC/MRSL, wastewater, chemical management, and environmental requirements.

* Coordinate wastewater testing, environmental monitoring, and corrective actions based on test results.

* Ensure proper segregation, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

* Conduct regular inspections of ETP, chemical stores, production areas, waste areas, and other relevant facilities.

* Prepare for and support buyer, H&M, third-party, environmental, chemical, and sustainability audits.

* Prepare and follow up on CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) and ensure timely closure of findings.

* Conduct training and awareness sessions on chemical handling, PPE, spill response, waste management, ETP, and environmental requirements.

* Coordinate with production, maintenance, laboratory, and other departments to ensure ECR requirements are properly implemented.

* Maintain all necessary records, reports, permits, licenses, test reports, and compliance documents.

* Ensure compliance with applicable Bangladesh environmental laws and regulatory requirements.

* Perform other ECR, environmental, chemical, and sustainability-related duties assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

* Must have experience working with H&M requirements.

* Experience with H&M Supplier Portal is required.

* Practical experience in HIGG FEM/FSLM and sustainability-related assessments.

* Experience with ETP management and wastewater compliance.

* Strong knowledge of chemical management and environmental compliance.

* Experience with Primark, Takko, and S.Oliver requirements will be preferred.

* Relevant experience in RMG/Sweater manufacturing will be preferred.

* Good communication, documentation, audit-handling, and coordination skills.
