Responsibilities & Context:
  1.  NEXT Order Handling
    Responsible for end-to-end quality management of assigned NEXT/NSL orders, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements from pre-production through final shipment.

  1. Buyer Quality Standards
    Ensure NEXT quality standards, specifications, workmanship requirements, approved samples and buyer comments are properly implemented throughout production.

3.       Pre-Production Meeting (PPM)
Arrange and attend PPM with Buying QA/Factory teams and ensure all quality, technical, safety, packing, and construction requirements are clearly communicated and implemented.

4.       Inspection Management
Plan, coordinate, and monitor Initial, Inline, Mid/Pre-Final, and Final Inspections as required by NEXT/NSL procedures.

5.       Black Seal / Gold Seal Compliance
Ensure bulk production is strictly aligned with approved Black Seal/Gold Seal samples, comments, specifications, measurements, construction, trims, appearance, and workmanship.

6.       Quality Monitoring & Follow-Up
Closely monitor quality performance in Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Washing, Packing, and other relevant sections and take immediate corrective action against identified issues.

7.       Buyer QA Coordination
Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with NEXT Buying QA / NS QA and coordinate buyer visits, inspections, quality approvals, and critical issue resolution.

8.       Critical Issue Management
Identify, analyze and escalate critical quality issues to management and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.

9.       Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major/repeated defects and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and followed up to prevent recurrence.

10.    Product Safety & Compliance
Ensure all products comply with NEXT product safety requirements, including applicable trim, pull-strength, chemical, labeling, packaging, and other safety requirements. NEXT QA requirements publicly include construction checks, trim checks, safety standards and pull testing.

11.    Packing & Labelling
Ensure packing, carton marking, care labels, supplier/season codes, tickets, trims, and other labeling requirements are fully compliant with approved NEXT standards.

12.    Quality Documentation
Maintain complete and accurate GPQ records, inspection reports, PPM records, quality files, buyer comments, approvals, corrective-action reports, and other required documentation.

13.    Daily Quality & Production Status
Monitor daily production and quality status and ensure required production/inspection reports and updates are shared with NEXT/Buying QA on time.

14.    NEXT QMS / Portal Management
Maintain strong working knowledge of the NEXT QMS/online portals and ensure all required quality information, reports, approvals, and submissions are updated accurately and on time.

15.    Sample & Bulk Quality Alignment
Ensure approved samples and buyer comments are properly transferred to bulk production and that there is no deviation between approved standards and bulk garments.

16.    Risk Identification
Proactively identify potential quality, safety, workmanship, measurement, construction, packing, and shipment risks and take preventive action before they become critical issues.

17.    Final Shipment Readiness
Ensure all quality requirements are fulfilled before final inspection and shipment, including inspection status, outstanding defects, approvals, documentation, packing, and buyer requirements.

18.    Team Training & Quality Awareness
Provide necessary guidance/training to QC, Production, Section Heads, and relevant team members regarding NEXT quality requirements, recurring defects, buyer comments, and quality improvement.

19.    Continuous Improvement
Analyze recurring quality problems and develop improvement actions to increase first-time-right performance, inspection pass rate, buyer satisfaction, and overall quality performance.

20.    Other Responsibilities
Perform other quality-related assignments and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
