Responsibilities & Context:

• Overall management and supervision of daily dairy farm operations.

• Ensure proper care, feeding, housing, hygiene, and welfare of dairy cattle.

• Monitor milk production, quality, and overall herd performance.

• Supervise cattle vaccination, medication, deworming, breeding, and veterinary care.

• Maintain proper records of milk production, feed consumption, breeding, health, and cattle inventory.

• Manage farm workers and ensure proper allocation of daily duties.

• Ensure proper implementation of farm hygiene, sanitation, and biosecurity practices.

• Monitor feed, fodder, medicine, equipment, and other farm requirements.

• Coordinate with veterinarians and other relevant personnel regarding cattle health and farm operations.

• Control farm operating costs and minimize wastage.

• Prepare regular reports on milk production, herd health, expenses, and overall farm performance.

• Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the dairy farm.
