Experience:

• 12 to 18 years

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Supply Chain Management

Professional certification in SCM will be an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years in senior managerial/leadership position in SCM.Strong experience in Outerwear/Jacket manufacturing will be highly preferred.Practical experience in factory-based supply chain operations is essential.

Ø  Lead and manage the overall SCM function of the Outerwear Factory.

Ø  Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with production and business requirements.

Ø  Ensure timely availability of fabric, trims, accessories, packaging materials and other production inputs.

Ø  Manage sourcing, procurement, inventory, warehouse and material planning activities.

Ø  Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Production, IE, Commercial, Quality and Accounts departments.

Ø  Monitor supplier performance, lead time, quality, cost and delivery.

Ø  Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms.

Ø  Ensure optimum inventory levels and minimize excess, shortage and obsolete materials.

Ø  Monitor material requisition, purchase orders, delivery schedules and production requirements.

Ø  Identify supply chain risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Ø  Establish and monitor SCM KPIs, including OTIF, inventory turnover, material availability, lead time and cost efficiency.

Ø  Prepare regular SCM performance reports for top management.

Ø  Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and supply chain efficiency initiatives.
