Experience:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Garments Technology, or a relevant discipline.
Candidates with relevant technical education and practical experience in woven garment quality control may also be considered.
Relevant experience in Sewing Quality or Finishing Quality in woven garments will be preferred.
Experience in an export-oriented garment manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
Familiarity with international buyer requirements and quality standards will be preferred.
Good knowledge of woven garment manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of garment defects and workmanship standards.
Knowledge of AQL and garment inspection procedures.
Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with production and quality teams.
Willingness to work in a factory environment.
We are looking for Quality Controllers for our Woven Garments Quality team, with separate positions focused on Sewing Quality and Finishing Quality. The selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring product quality within their respective areas, identifying quality issues, ensuring compliance with approved standards, and supporting timely corrective actions throughout the production process.
Monitor and control garment quality within the assigned area of Sewing or Finishing.
Conduct regular in-line and end-line inspections according to approved quality standards and buyer requirements.
Inspect garment workmanship, construction, measurements, appearance, and overall product quality.
Identify quality defects and communicate issues to the concerned production and quality personnel.
Follow up on corrective actions and conduct re-inspection where required.
Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, specifications, measurement charts, and buyer requirements.
Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports as required.
Support the reduction of recurring defects through proper identification, reporting, and follow-up.
Ensure compliance with applicable AQL and buyer-specific inspection requirements.
Coordinate with the relevant production teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the reporting supervisor.
For Sewing Quality:
Monitor sewing operations and identify workmanship and construction-related defects.
Check stitching, seams, SPI, thread tension, attachments, and other sewing quality parameters.
For Finishing Quality:
Monitor finishing processes and inspect garment appearance and presentation.
Check pressing, trimming, labeling, packing, measurements, and other finishing quality requirements.
