Job Context:

M R Sweater is looking for an experienced and dynamic Merchandiser to handle sweater merchandising activities from product development to final shipment. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with buyers, suppliers, production, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with buyers and buying houses regarding orders, samples, prices, and production requirements.

• Develop and follow up on sweater samples, including proto, fit, size set, and approval samples.

• Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing, T&A, and production-related documents.

• Coordinate with knitting, linking, washing, finishing, and production teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Follow up on yarn, accessories, trims, and other raw materials.

• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.

• Ensure products meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and approved samples.

• Coordinate with the Quality, Production, and Commercial departments for smooth shipment.

• Follow up on inspection, packing, shipment, and delivery schedules.

• Identify production or delivery issues and take necessary corrective actions.

• Maintain regular communication with buyers and provide order status updates.

• Perform other merchandising-related duties assigned by management.
