Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• Age At most 35 years

• 2 years of relevant experience in Social Compliance, Sustainability, Factory Audit, or Ethical & Environmental Sustainability, preferably in a buying house or garment manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, RSC requirements, social compliance standards, and buyer Codes of Conduct.

• Practical knowledge of relevant certifications such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, OEKO-TEX, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 will be an advantage.

• Strong auditing, reporting, communication, analytical, and factory development skills.Willingness to travel frequently to factories and production facilities.

• Good command of English and Bengali, both written and verbal.

1. Conduct independent Social Compliance Audits at new and existing factories as per buyer requirements and applicable standards.

2. Develop factories according to buyer standards and Code of Conduct to prepare them for buyer and third-party audits.

3. Follow up Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and support factories in implementing effective corrective actions.

4. Respond to buyer queries related to social compliance, sustainability, audit findings, and factory development.

5. Conduct Technical Audits and support factories in achieving buyer audit requirements.

6. Follow up and support factories for certifications such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ICS, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, OEKO-TEX, STeP by OEKO-TEX, BCI, CmiA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.

7. Provide training to factory management and employees on Bangladesh Labour Law, regulatory changes, social compliance, and buyer requirements.

8. Follow up on RSC requirements related to structural, fire, and electrical safety across supply chain factories.

9. Conduct Production Traceability Audits and verify order and raw material traceability throughout the production process.

10. Prepare and maintain audit reports, CAP follow-up reports, and other compliance-related documentation.

11. Coordinate with factories, buyers, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of compliance and sustainability issues.
