• Strong knowledge of menswear silhouettes, fabrics and garment construction

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other design software

• Good understanding of fashion forecasting and color trends

• Strong communication, creativity, and team coordination skills

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and trend-driven Men’s wear Fashion Designer to develop innovative and commercially viable men’s wear collections. The candidate will be responsible for creating seasonal designs, researching fashion trends, selecting fabrics and trims and coordinating with merchandising, sampling and production teams to ensure timely product development.

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Research global fashion trends, market demands and competitor products.

• Develop seasonal menswear collections including casual, formal and smart-casual categories.

• Develop seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and design themes.

• Create design concepts, sketches, tech packs and specification sheets.

• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, prints and accessories.

• Coordinate with sample and pattern teams for prototype development.

• Conduct fitting sessions and make necessary design corrections.

• Work closely with merchandising and production teams to ensure product feasibility and timely execution.

• Maintain brand identity and ensure design consistency across collections.

• Monitor sample development and ensure design accuracy during the sampling process.

• Visit factories and production floors to resolve design and construction issues.

• Stay updated on international menswear trends, forecasting reports, and consumer behavior.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design or any relevant discipline.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in menswear fashion design within a garment, textile, or fashion retail company.
