Responsibilities & Context:

• Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions across the manufacturing operation.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, systems, procedures, and inspection protocols.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, and applicable national/international quality standards.

• Monitor quality performance from raw materials through production, finishing, packing, and final inspection.

• Establish and monitor quality KPIs, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Conduct regular quality audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, R&D, Merchandising, and other relevant departments to resolve quality-related issues.

• Handle customer complaints, analyze quality failures, and ensure appropriate corrective actions.

• Lead and develop the QA & QC team through training, coaching, and performance management.

• Prepare and submit regular quality reports and provide recommendations to top management for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO, customer, social, environmental, and other applicable standards.
