Responsibilities & Context:
Coordinate with the Yarn Procurement Department to ensure the timely in-house availability of yarn.
Follow up with the Knitting Machine Planning team to ensure knitting production starts as per schedule.
Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of grey fabric to the Dyeing (Batch) section.
Maintain optimum raw material safety stock and monitor inventory to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained without disrupting production.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed for all raw materials and inventory.
Monitor and optimize the capacity utilization of in-house knitting and dyeing operations.
Coordinate with the Dyeing Planning team to ensure dyeing production starts on time according to the production plan.
Follow up with the Finishing and Quality Control teams to ensure finished fabrics are prepared within the planned timeline.
Ensure on-time delivery of finished fabrics in accordance with the Fabric Shipment Date (FSD).
Prepare and submit regular management reports on production status, inventory, and operational performance.
Analyze departmental KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and coordinate new projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by management.
