Role Summary / Job Context

Silver Composite Textile Mills Ltd. (Unit-03), a concern of Silver Line Group, is seeking a highly experienced, technically strong, and results-driven General Manager (GM) – Yarn Dyeing to lead the Yarn Dyeing Department of its vertically integrated woven textile manufacturing facility. The role carries full accountability for production, quality, cost, machinery, manpower, and timely supply of dyed yarn to the weaving department, overseeing FONG'S package/cone dyeing machines with an approximate capacity of 510 MT per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and maximize production/capacity utilization across FONG'S machines

Ensure technical control of dyeing process: recipe standardization, shade matching, lab-to-bulk reproducibility, troubleshooting (shade variation, uneven dyeing, fastness issues)

Drive Right First Time (RFT), minimize re-dyeing, reprocessing, and rejections

Control cost/kg and consumption of dyes, chemicals, water, steam, electricity

Oversee machine performance, maintenance coordination, and downtime reduction

Coordinate with Spinning, Weaving, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain

Lead RCA/CAPA for recurring issues; drive continuous improvement

Manage, train, and develop the Yarn Dyeing team

Ensure EHS, chemical management, and sustainability compliance

Provide accurate production/performance reports (Plan vs Actual, RFT, cost, consumption, OTIF, etc.)

Key KPIs: Production %, Capacity Utilization, RFT %, Re-Dyeing %, Cost/Kg, Consumption (Dye/Chemical/Water/Steam/Energy), Machine Utilization, Downtime, OTIF, Manpower Productivity

Education: B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Wet Processing preferred)

Experience:

15+ years in Yarn Dyeing (18–20+ preferred), incl. 5+ years in senior leadership (GM/DGM/AGM level)

Hands-on package/cone yarn dyeing experience, preferably on FONG'S machines

Managed large-scale operations (~400–500+ MT/month preferred)

Knit/fabric-only dyeing background will NOT be considered
